Becoming an effective teacher

The Art and Science of Teaching Introduction One of the noblest professions is teaching and without the remarkable abilities of teachers instructing children to learn new concepts, the children's nubile and impressionable minds would become stagnant and dull lacking in complicated and creative thought processes. It is often argued that teaching is either an art or a science and many articles and publications have been created to support their opposing view and these arguments are given below. However; in this paper, the argument will present both sides asserting that it takes both art and science to become an effective teacher. Teaching is a challenging and complex occupation that requires specific training involving both artistic and scientific teaching approaches and application.
